Colin is currently an advanced graduate student at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), where he is seeking a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. He has a master’s degree in psychology and is a registered psychological assistant (Registration: PSB94024348) under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Singley (License: PSY20995).
In his graduate studies, Colin has engaged in supervised clinical training in residential and inpatient mental health facilities. He has focused his clinical training on working with individuals with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Colin has been working in the mental health field for five years, three of which have been during his doctoral studies. He has received education, training, supervision, and direct experience on the use of evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
He has conducted research as part of multiple doctoral students’ dissertations. In addition, he was a graduate research assistant at the Wellness Initiative for Senior Enrichment (WISE) Lab at the University of California, San Diego. Colin is also a leader of the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Student Mentorship program at CSPP.
